Wash with warm water once it dries it.

3. Sugar

Another natural source of glycolic acid, sugar can boost new skin cell productions and also help in smoothening and softening your skin. All you need to do is, mix a half cup of brown or white sugar within enough olive oil and make it a nice paste with no formation of lumps. Apply the paste to the face in a circular motion and let sit for 10 minutes. Once dries up, rinse away with warm water.

4. Yogurt

Considered as a great and mild method used for skincare, Yogurt contains lactic acid, the same alpha hydroxy acid which is commonly found in skin care treatments. Yogurt helps to soothe the skin and also evens skin tone. Just apply plain yogurt to face and leave it on for 20 minutes, and then rinse with warm water.

5. Lemon juice

One of the easiest ways to get brighter skin, all you need to do is, mix one-quarter-cup each of lemon juice with either apple juice or grape juice until sugar dissolves. Once the mixture is ready, apply it to your face with a cotton pad, and leave it on for 10 minutes before washing away.

6. Papaya

Papaya contains papain – the enzyme which helps in dissolving dead skin cells. It also helps in healing skin rashes and lightens the fine lines and dark spots. If you prefer this option, select green papayas that are more effective and beneficial. Mash the fruit into a smooth paste and apply it to your face, leave it on for 15 minutes before washing it off with warm water.
